Crochet Hooked on
Fish by Heidi Petach Heidi has created some wonderful little fish designs in worsted yarn and metallic crochet thread using a size H hook. You can make the fish as sculptures, attach them to a wall hanging, a toy or add as embellishment to home décor. The stitches are easy, the most complex being a triple crochet stitch. Shell stitches are used to make some of the fish body shaping. Heidi includes the patterns for the wall hanging, tissue roll cover and curtain tieback. I am sure young children would love to have one of these soft fish. They would make great gifts. I have already decided I will work one of the fish as a miniature in bead crochet, using small seed beads, thin thread and small hook. What fun!
