Here is the primo of modular knitting patterns.  The jacket on the cover is to die for.  The designs incorporate the motifs seen in many recent books, and then present new looks with long tulip shapes from the neck down, smaller motifs at the bottom, a very slenderizing style.  There are several motifs that are reminiscent of Asian symbolism and patterns.

You will find help for choosing colors and how to work the yarn colors for your knitting.  Patricia believes in creativity and fun; that wild colors can work next to each other if you know the little secrets.

Working modules as you go; decreasing; binding off; reading diagrams; how to make that flawless fit, freeform design; blocking and design options, help you to pull it all together.

There are 14 patterns and every single one is gorgeous.  Vests, jackets and coat designs are each unique and individual.  When you make one of these patterns, you are working with a diversity of color through out the design.

A schematic is provided for each pattern and all other information you need to make it.  I love the Fan Dango Vest, in soft pastel fan motifs; it is stunning.  The coats and jackets are yummy for those living in cooler climates.

Dazzling Knits, a book of glorious motifs, is for intermediate and advanced knitters, not for beginners.
