The wonderful pictures of the handbags and the easy to read instructions will send you flying to your machine. There are 29 projects in this book with wonderful ideas for handles, closures, surface design on fabric, embellishments and so much, much more. This works out to less than $1 a pattern! When have you seen a bargain like that recently? The best part of this book is that the full-sized patterns for all the handbags are included in a nice envelope in the back cover of the book! You don’t even have to enlarge them before you copy them! The color drawings that go with the text to take you step-by-step through the construction of the bag are really nice. I found having them in colors helped me define the pieces easier than with just black and white or gray drawings. When I finally got to the gallery page in the back of the book, I was delighted to recognize the work of a friend of mine. That was an added bonus. I love this book and several of my friends that I have shown it too have also purchased it and been very happy.
