The title of this little book tells it all! It is full of web sites with free patterns and instruction for projects for hand stitchers of all levels. If you need any how- too’s, you can find it at one of the several sites they list.

Being new to the web I found this book very educational in more than just stitching information. The first forty some pages are devoted to using the web. Detailed and easy to follow instructions are given to teach you how to "surf", send Email, download and all kinds of other neat stuff that I’m just learning about. Before this book, I knew nothing about chat rooms or news groups. This may not be breaking news for most of you but it is a big help to some of us that are computer challenged!

I have checked out several of the sites that they have listed and have not been disappointed in any of them. I think that it would take me years to check all of them out and I would need a mountain of memory to download all the patterns that I think I might want to make some day! My list of favorite places has grown dramatically!

Since I teach classes in a sewing machine store I’m going to suggest that the storeowner look into the other books that these two ladies have put together. I’m sure that they are just as rewarding as this one for hand stitchers.
